‘Dangerous war may happen soon, enemies will come with someone …’, Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi’s serious warning among Operation Sindoor

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has warned of dangerous war and said that this time the enemy can also get support from another country. This statement of the army chief has come to light at a time when Pakistan’s Army Chief and Field Marshal Asim Munir is on a visit to America. However, General Upendra Dwivedi did not name any country and his statement is also dated August 4, whose video was released by the army on Sunday (August 10, 2025).

According to the PTI report, the army chief underlined the possibility of a danger without naming a country and said, ‘Next time this (danger) may be more and that country will do it alone or with the support of any other country, we do not know, but, I am sure, I think that country will not be alone. We have to be careful here.

General Upendra Dwivedi used chess and cricket similes to emphasize the complications of Operation Sindoor. General Upendra Dwivedi compared it to the chess bet and said, ‘We played chess in Operation Sindoor. What does it mean? This means that we did not know what the next move of the enemy would be and what we are going to do. We call it gray zone. Gray zone means that we are not running a traditional campaign, but we are doing something that is slightly different from the traditional campaign.

He said, ‘Traditional campaign means, take everything, take everything you have and if you can come back then come back, otherwise stay there. This is called a traditional method. Here gray zone means activity occurring in any of all areas, we are talking about this and Operation Sindoor taught us that this is the gray zone.

The army chief said, ‘We were playing chess bets and that (enemy) was also going on chess. Somewhere we were beating them and beating them, so somewhere we were trying to beat him even at the risk of losing our lives, but this means life. General Upendra Dwivedi insisted that as far as the gray zone is concerned, it is always and will remain.

He said in detail, ‘And, the next war we are imagining, it can happen soon. We have to prepare accordingly, in this we will have to fight this fight together. The army chief said that the army alone will not fight it.

He said, ‘If I see it from my perspective, then India is facing two and a half fronts. If we talk about the grassroots boundaries of the country, then the currency of the people of today’s people will remain in the form of land.

He said, ‘If anything was not visible, then it may be that other countries are helping the enemy … This Test match stopped on the fourth day, it could have continued even 14 days, 140 days, 1400 days. We do not know, but we have to be ready for all this.
