Durga Prasad, the organizer of this movement, met Gyanendra Shah a day earlier and he received instructions to agitate for demanding the monarchy and Hindu state.”
This incident happened when the monarchy supporters became active since democracy day in February, when Gyanendra Shah said, the time has come that we take responsibility for protecting the country and bringing national unity. After this, the supporters of the monarchy were organizing rallies in Kathmandu and other parts of the country, demanding the reinstatement of the 240 -year -old monarchy ended in 2008.
