According to reports, big cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru were the most troublesome. Airtel’s users leave the call, they were not able to run even mobile data. According to the outage tracking website Downdetector, the problem in Airtel started around 3:30 pm. Some reports describe it at 4:30 pm. More than 3 thousand complaints were filed only from Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. By about 5:30 pm, the service started to improve gradually.

Although Airtel users were the most troublesome, but reports told that users of Jio and Vodafone-Dea also had to face network problems. About 200 complaints were filed on Jio. About 50 complaints were reported about VI. Complaints were also received from cities like Chandigarh, Lucknow and Patna besides the complaints Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru.

People said that they are neither able to call nor run internet. One user jokingly wrote “Airtel is down in Delhi? For the last one hour my wife is thinking that I am ignoring her calls. Thank you Airtel, for turning the network problem into marriage problem.”

It was believed from Airtel that there was a disturbance in the network and work was done immediately to fix it. At the same time, Jio clarified that his network was working normally throughout the day. All Jio-to-Jio calls and calls on other networks from Jio were running smoothly. The problem came only in a situation when Jio users called on a network in which downtime was already running.
