According to media reports, now additional charge will have to be paid if passengers carry more luggage than the limit. However, the railway has called the claims of any such decision a rumor. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav raised questions and said that the BJP has also hollowed out the railways.
The SP president posted on X, targeting this decision of the railway. He wrote- ‘BJP has become a heavy burden for the public. The day the BJP will weigh the bundle of corruption, the BJP will get derailed on that day… and now that day is not far away.

Kannauj MP wrote that another chapter of corruption is being opened in the name of weighing the goods of passengers in the railways. This decision is against the poor, who is going to AC-1, what difference does it make, but ask the poor who goes from home once or twice a year and brings it with them by tying dal-rice-ration.
He wrote that now the BJP wants to take away the food of the poor laborer-farmer’s plate. What to recover the hungry BJP of money is recovered from the people of AC-1 and AC-2 and not from General, sleeper or AC-3 people. If the treasure of the railway is completely vacant during the BJP government’s rule, then they ask their MPs and MLAs that they should leave them near their free.
The SP Chief wrote that the corruption of the BJP has made the railway hollow. If this decision is not returned, the public will cut the ticket of BJP’s return before time. One who cannot bear the burden of the poor is cursed on such a double engine. Shameful decision! When BJP goes, the railway came on track.
