The compact SUV segment in the Indian market is steadily increasing. Many big companies are preparing to launch new models and updated versions in this segment at the rest of the months of the year 2025 and early next year. The most popular among them are Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid, New Hyundai Venue and Tata punch facelift. Let’s know in detail about these trains.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid

  • India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its popular SUV Fronx’s hybrid version in 2025. The car will come in Strong Hybrid Poverty (HEV) with a 1.2-liter Z12e petrol engine, 1.5-2 kwh battery pack and electric motor. Its biggest feature is that it claims to give a mileage of more than 35kmpl, making it the most affordable SUV in the segment.
  • Talking about the features, it is expected to get Level 1 Adas, 6 airbags, 360-degree camera and sunroof. Its design will have minor changes, such as new grills, updated headlamps and better cabin layout. Its possible price will be 8 lakh to 13 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Venue 2025

  • Hyundai is planning to launch its new generation model of its popular compact SUV Venue by the end of 2025. It will get a new boxy design with split headlamps, parametric grills and connected LED tail lamps, which will give it a more premium look. The existing engine option (1.2L petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine) will remain intact. However, it can add advance features such as Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and 10.25-inch dual displays. Its cabin will also be re-designed, in which a new dashboard and updated update will be seen. Talking about the price, the price of the new venue can be between 7.5 lakh to 13 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).

Tata punch facelift – ev

  • Tata Motors is preparing to launch the facelift model of its best -selling SUV Punch before Diwali. This time Punch will get an inspiration design from the EV version, which will have new LED DRLs, slim headlamps and re-designed bumpers. The interior will have features like two-spoke steering wheel, large touchscreen, digital instrument cluster and touch-based HVAC control. The punch facelift will have the same 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine and CNG version in which there will be no mechanical change. Its price is expected to be from 6 lakh to 10 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). This SUV will directly compete with the Hyundai Exter and Maruti Fronx.
