‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ has so far earned in India above Rs 216 crore and worldwide above Rs 280 crore. If you compare the collection of this animated film from Bollywood films released this year, then there are only ‘Saira’ and ‘Chhava’. The box office collection of more than two dozen films of all other small and big stars has crossed when.

The film has also become the first animated film to earn so much, which is now going to touch the 300 crore mark. The film did not become such a big blockbuster. Behind this is the hard work of the team associated with it, which Ashwin Kumar has told in his interview on a YouTube channel named Mana Stars.

Intresses related to ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’

Ashwin Kumar, director of this film, explained the entire process of making a film in the interview. He told how hard he had to work to make this film. Also explained how to show such a good emotion in the film’s animated characters.

Ashwin Kumar says, “This was a big challenge, it used to take about 2 weeks to make a second of the film.”

Ashwin explains, ‘There are 24 images in a second and one of these images used to take 4-10 hours to render. In this way it used to take 2 weeks to make a 1 second video.

Mahavatar Narasimha 'used to be made in 1 second 14 days, unheard things related to' War 2 'too heavy

Where did the difficulty come while making ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’?

Ashwin Kumar also talked about the difficulty which was the most frustrating. He said, ‘After preparing a video of about 1 second to 10 seconds, when you did not like it, you used to process the same again.’

That is, this work is complete zero. He said, ‘All this was very tired. Ashwin says- It used to be as if you are running marathon again and again.

What was the most challenging

Ashwin Kumar told that the R&D of this film started in 2019-20. That is, before making the film, whatever was related to research, decoration and production, it had started 5-6 years before its release. Ashwin told that at that time when the film started, AI tools did not come.

Ashwin Kumar says, ‘The most creative challenge was to bring emotion in characters.

Why ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ became such a big hit

Ashwin Kumar said in a conversation with Hindustan Times, ‘The reason for this is that the film was so big a hit even after releasing in front of’ Fantastic Four First Steps’ and ‘Saira’ because they have adopted their history.

Ashwin Kumar has also revealed about the budget of the film. Earlier, different data were coming in different reports. Most of the reports were showing its budget 15 crores, but according to Ashwin Kumar, it has cost Rs 40 crore to make it.

‘War 2’-‘Mahavatar Narasimha’ was heavy on ‘Coolie’

Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War 2’, which was made in the budget of 400 crores, is not able to reach 10 crores as soon as he enters the weekedage. On the other hand, Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ has a similar condition, while both films have a big star and big budget and they have been released.

So even after 27 days of release ‘Mahavatar Narasimha’, it is taking a business of 2 crore rupees every day. The amazing thing is that the opening of this film was just Rs 1.75 crore on the day of release and after a week, the small budget film started collecting notes equal to the recent collections of ‘War 2’ and ‘Coolie’ after many big competitions were revealed.
