Shahrukh Khan also cleaned the set of a film. Which has been revealed by director Farooq Kabir.
Farooq Kabir narrated an anecdote of the film, Dil Hai Hindustani, in an interview to The Lalantop. In which he talked about Shahrukh’s generosity. Farooq had told that during a shot, Shah Rukh Khan mopped on the set of Dil Hai Hindustani. At that time he was Assistant Direct in the film.
Shahrukh mounted
Farooq said- It was once such that the lunch break was over. All the people were slowly returning to the set. I was standing in the corner and smoking cigarettes. I saw that Shah Rukh has come on the set in his makeup look. During that time the shooting of I am the best song was going on. In a shot, he had to come and go forward on the floor. He was rehearsing. But they were not able to slide because the floor was not smooth. At the same time, the buckets and mops of the producers were kept on the side. He picked up and started putting it on the ground. I looked at them from a distance, I ran. The second mop picked up and started mopping with them.
Farooq further said-before the unite came there, he started doing this. They do not stop that I will keep everything ready and then I will come. Their food was over but the unit was running till then. Because of this, he started mopping. By the time the unit came on the set, Shah Rukh Bhai rehearsed and understood how to take it.
Let me tell you that Juhi Chawla was seen in the lead role with Shah Rukh Khan in the film Dil Hai Hindustani.
