Kangana Ranaut said, ‘What happened today in Parliament, the kind of scene we saw, will embarrass any civilized society. When Union Home Minister Amit Shah was presenting the bill in the Lok Sabha, MPs of opposition parties tried to remove their mic. Even the opposition leaders tore the bill and threw the bill on the mouth of Home Minister Amit Shah. Apart from this, there were many people in them who brought stones. He stoned the mouth of the Home Minister.
He said, ‘The way the MPs of opposition parties were committing violence, at that time our party leaders acted very restrained, but how long this will continue within Parliament, it is the biggest concern.’

Amit Shah introduced the bill
Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced a bill to amend the Constitution in the Lok Sabha during the monsoon session on Wednesday (August 20, 2025). In the bill that Amit Shah introduced, the Prime Minister, Union Minister, Chief Minister and ministers have been provided to resign for 30 consecutive days of custody, otherwise a provision has been made to cancel him from the post.
Opposition strongly criticized the bill
As soon as Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced this bill in the Lok Sabha, the leaders of the opposition started creating a ruckus. The opposition strongly criticized the bill and also demanded to withdraw it. Describing this bill as unconstitutional, Congress leader Manish Tiwari said, “This bill also opens doors on behalf of the state institutions to misuse political, whose arbitrary conduct has repeatedly objected to the Supreme Court.”
