US President Donald Trump has adopted a strict attitude towards India. He had first imposed 25 percent tariff on India, but has increased it to 50 percent. Trump is facing criticism in his country because of this. Former US National Security Advisor John Bolton has said that America should maintain good relations with India. He said that the attitude of Trump administration is very bad.
According to ‘Hindustan Times’, John Bolton said, ,India and America are in a bad state. It is bringing India closer to China and Russia, which can become a problem for America in future. The Trump administration should maintain good relations with India., Bolton has also reacted to India on the matter of buying oil from Russia.
Bolton makes India right in case of Russian oil
Referring to the problem of Trump and America, Bolton said, “The complaint is that India reflected some petrol bought from Russia and sold it in the international market.” This should be discussed, there is no problem in this, but India has not broken any kind of ban. According to the rule, anyone can sell Russian oil at the prescribed price or less than $ 60 per barrel and sell it anywhere. So India has no fault in this, if there is a problem then it is in the rules of ban.
Trump needs to handle relations with India
Bolton said that Trump needs to handle the relationship with India. He said, “We should focus on the loss of relationships.” It should be thought that how can relations with India be cured as soon as possible. ”He also questioned the softness towards China. Trump gave relief to China in the case of tariff.
