There has been an incident of cloudburst in Chamoli in Uttarakhand. The cloud is cracked in Chamoli’s Tharali. In this incident, 2 people are reported to have been suppressed. It is one o’clock in the night. The SDRF team has left the spot for relief and rescue operations. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also expressed grief over this incident.
Chamoli DM Sandeep Tiwari said that there is a possibility of a lot of damage due to cloudburst in Tharali tehsil last night. There has been a lot of debris due to cloudburst, causing many houses including SDM housing. SDM residence has also filled four feet debris.
ADM Vivek Prakash said that there has been a lot of damage due to cloudburst in Tharali. A 20 -year -old girl and an elderly elderly are said to be missing due to debris. Both are feared to be buried in the rubble. They are being searched. Debris has come due to heavy rains in Tharali and surrounding areas.
Administration engaged in relief and rescue operations
Chamoli police said that life was affected by the overflow in Tharali area last night. In view of the seriousness of the situation, the police station Tharali police, showing promptness at night, alerted the local people and took them out of the houses to safe places.

On the other hand, Uttarakhand Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman said that debris has entered houses, markets and SDM houses due to cloudburst in Tharali in Chamoli district. The District Magistrate and Relief Team have left for the scene. Two people are reported missing.
CM Dhami gave instructions for immediate help
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is also constantly monitoring the situation. He expressed grief over this incident and has instructed the disaster management team to help the affected people immediately.
CM Dhami wrote on X that ‘In the Tharali area of Chamoli district, there was a sad information of cloudburst late night. District administration, SDRF, police are engaged in relief and rescue operations by reaching the spot. In this regard, I am constantly in touch with the local administration and I am monitoring the situation myself in depth. I pray to God for everyone to be safe.
