Preparations are in full swing for the vote rights journey to be held on August 26 in Supaul district. Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ranjit Ranjan gave a press conference in the guest house on Saturday and gave information about this journey. He told that in this program, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav are reaching Supaul.
This journey will be the voice of the public- Ranjit Ranjan
MP Ranjit Ranjan said that this journey is not just a political program, but the voice of the rights of the public. He clarified that the participation of youth, farmers, laborers and all sections of society will be ensured.
He informed that activities at the district level have intensified due to the preparations for the yatra. Party workers and local people are fully prepared to make this program historic.
During the press conference, the MP also launched sharp attacks on the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “Whenever the Prime Minister gives a speech, he only remembers Rahul Gandhi’s name. It clearly shows that the government is afraid of the power of the opposition and the increasing influence of Rahul Gandhi.”
He sarcastically said, “If the opposition’s name is repeatedly on the Prime Minister’s tongue, then it is proof that the voice of the opposition cannot be suppressed.”
Travel will be a symbol of opposition unity- Ranjan
Ranjit Ranjan said that this journey of Supaul will be a symbol of opposition unity and public expectations throughout the state. He appealed to the people of Supaul to reach out in large numbers and register their participation towards strengthening democracy.
The entry of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav in Supaul has increased the political temperature in the district and surrounding areas. There is enthusiasm among the local workers and the Congress is working on a strategy to convert this visit into a big public support for the opposition.
MP Ranjit Ranjan finally said that this journey is an opportunity to not only join the Congress but also to strengthen the fight for democracy.
