Patna High Court has released a detailed notification of recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Group-C. This is a big opportunity for the youth waiting for the job. A total of 111 posts will be filled, in which seats have been reserved for all classes. These include 32 posts for general category, 6 posts for EWS, 15 posts for BC category, 26 posts for EBC class, 30 posts for SC class and 2 posts for ST category.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online till 19 September 2025. The last date for submission of application fee has been fixed on 21 September 2025.
How much will you get salary?
The candidates selected on this post will get a monthly salary ranging from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 under Level-4 pay scale. This pay scale makes this post even more attractive.
Educational qualification
To apply, the candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board. Along with this, there should be a certificate of English shorthand and English typing. The candidate should have a diploma or six -month certificate course in computer. Also, the speed of English shorthand should be 80 words per minute and the speed of English typing should be 40 words per minute.
Age limit
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years. The maximum age limit has been fixed separately for different classes. The maximum age of male candidates of general and EWS category has been kept at 37 years. For general category women and OBC category, this limit is 40 years, while SC and ST candidates can apply for 42 years.
Application fee
To join the recruitment process, candidates of general, BC, EBC and EWS class will have to pay a fee of Rs 1100. At the same time, the fee for SC and ST candidates has been fixed at Rs 550.

Applications will be accepted only through online medium. Candidates will first have to visit the official website of Patna High Court patnahighcourt.gov.in. Click on the link “Stenographer Recruitment Examination, 2025” given on the homepage there. After this, fill the personal information sought, upload the document and pay the prescribed fee. Finally, after submitting the application form, keep a print out of it safe.
