In Maharashtra, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the political cracks were seen to be shifting. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached MNS chief Raj Thackeray’s residence ‘Shivatirtha’ on Thursday (August 28). Here, he met Raj Thackeray with Ganpati Bappa’s darshan and was seen talking.
Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde wrote on X, “The President of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, Raj Thackeray, appeared at the Shivtirtha residence of Raj Thackeray and visited Shri Ganesh. On this occasion, various topics were also discussed by meeting Raj Thackeray.
The whole family came together- Eknath Shinde
Pointing to Uddhav Thackeray, he said, “We come to see Raj Thackeray’s house every year to see Shri Ganesh. But this year some other people also came and expressed happiness that the whole family came together on this occasion.
Shinde said, “MNS president Raj Thackeray, his wife Mrs. Sharmila Thackeray, MNS leader Nitin Sardesai and former Shiv Sena MLA were always present on the occasion.”
Shinde reached Raj Thackeray’s house at a time when there is a lot of discussion that Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray will contest together in Maharashtra civic elections. Eknath Shinde and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav are opposed to Dhur.
Thackeray family looked united
On Wednesday (August 27), Uddhav Thackeray’s house arrived with the family. About two months ago, both brothers came together on the same stage after 20 years. Uddhav and Raj are also cousins as well as cousins.
The father of both was also real brothers and mothers. In a picture, Raj and Uddhav Thackeray are standing behind the picture of their grandfather Keshav and their father Srikanth and Bal Thackeray. Through the photo, an attempt was made to convey that the Thackeray family is together.

Raj Thackeray went to his residence ‘Matoshree’ in Bandra to wish Uddhav Thackeray his birthday last month. Raj Thackeray left the Shiv Sena in 2005 and blamed Uddhav Thackeray for this.
