The vehicle of Deepti Kiran Maheshwari, MLA from Rajsamand in Rajasthan, fell victim to an accident on Saturday (30 August). This accident took place on the Udaipur-Rajsamand National Highway. The MLA along with the MLA was also injured in the accident. All have been admitted to Gitanjali Hospital in Udaipur for treatment.
How did the accident happen?
According to the information, MLA Deepti Maheshwari was going towards Udaipur. Then a car coming from the wrong side near Ambari took a sharp turn on the cut and hit his car. The collision was so fast that the vehicle was badly damaged. The MLA along with his PA Jai and driver Dharmendra were also present in the car. The three were immediately rushed to the hospital with the help of 108 ambulances.
Treatment continues in hospital
The doctors of Gitanjali Hospital said that MLA Deepti Maheshwari has fractured in the ribs. Currently, he has been kept in the ICU so that the monitoring can be done continuously. Doctors say that their condition is currently stable. Family members informed that they will soon be shifted to the ward if health improves. The MLA’s PA Jai has suffered serious head injuries while the driver Dharmendra also suffered injuries in many places.

The MLA’s family and supporters reached the hospital in large numbers as soon as the news of the accident was received. Everyone prayed for his recovery soon. Family members said that Deepti Maheshwari is slowly getting healthy and doctors are constantly investigating. Supporters say that this road accident is a warning for the administration, because there is a dire need to control the high speed on the highway and control over the wrong direction.
Many local leaders have demanded strict security arrangements from the administration. After the accident, the people of the area are repeatedly saying that immediate action should be taken to stop vehicles coming from the wrong direction on the National Highway.
