Jasprit bumrah work load management: After the Anderson-Tendulkar series between India and England, the discussion about the work load of fast bowlers has intensified. Even before this Test series, the selectors of Team India had told that Bumrah will be able to play only three of the five Test matches. Something similar happened by the end of the series against England. Now on this matter, former bowling coach of Team India Bharat Arun has said to give compensation to Bumrah.

Why did Bumrah get compensation?

Bharat Arun, who was a bowling coach of the Indian team, spoke about Jaspreet Bumrah in the Bombay Sport Exchange Podcast of the Times of India. Bharat Arun said that it is necessary for the fast bowlers to be safe in the team. Batsmen and spinners can play in all formats, but it is not possible for fast bowlers to do so. Bharat Arun further said that Bumrah should not play IPL before the Test series against England and he should have rested this season IPL.

Bharat Arun believes that Jaspreet Bumrah or any other fast bowler should get full rest before the special series. Along with this, the Board of Control for Cricket in India should also give appropriate compensation to them. The BCCI should tell the players that you should work on this series instead of IPL and prepare for it.

Bumrah was injured before IPL

Indian team’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah suffered a back injury in the fifth Test during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, due to which Bumrah was away from cricket for three months. At the same time, Bumrah took 14 wickets in three matches in the Test series against England. During this, he also completed five wickets hall twice.
