Afghanistan Earthquake: Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in Afghanistan. There was a 5.5 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday (2 September) in the southeast part. This information has been given by Reuters to GFZ. The earthquake occurred after an earthquake with a 6.0 magnitude earthquake on Monday, killing at least 1400 people and more than 3,000 people were injured.
The earthquake already shook the area destroyed at least 24 hours ago, which led to fear among the people and affected relief work.
Relief and rescue work slowed down
“The injured people are being taken to a safe place, so the figures can move forward,” a spokesman of the National Disaster Management Authority of Afghanistan told AP. Officials said that the first earthquake landslide has blocked the main routes, due to which relief and emergency teams are not able to reach the affected areas on time.
