There is great news for the youth preparing for government jobs. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued the official notification of recruitment to the posts of Security Assistant Motor Transport. A total of 455 posts will be filled through this recruitment process. The application process will start from 6 September 2025 and candidates will be able to apply online by 28 September 2025. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs www.mha.gov.in.
Posts have been reserved for different classes in this recruitment. Out of a total of 455 posts, 219 posts are for general category candidates. 46 posts have been set for the economically weaker section (EWS). OBC class will get 90 posts, Scheduled Castes (SC) class 51 posts and Scheduled Tribes (ST) class will get a chance for 49 posts.
Essential educational qualification
The minimum qualification for recruitment is 10th pass. Along with this, the candidate must have a valid driving license of Light Motor Vehicle (LMV). After getting a driving license, the candidate should have at least one year driving experience. The most important condition is that the candidate should be a resident of the same state for which he is applying.
Age limit
Talking about the age limit, the age of the candidate should be between 18 and 27 years. However, the candidates of the reserved category will get a rebate in the maximum age limit as per government rules.

Application fee will have to be paid so much
As the application fee, the general category, OBC and EWS candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 650. The fee for candidates of all other classes has been fixed at Rs 550.

The process of applying is also quite easy. Candidates will have to first visit the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs. After this, you have to fill your information by clicking on the link related to the recruitment. After login, the required documents have to be uploaded and the fee will have to be paid. After filling the application form, the candidates must take out its print out.
