This film of actors like Anupam Kher and Mithun Chakraborty was able to collect only Rs 1.75 crore on the first day. However, seeing the initial figures of the second day, it seems that the film will leave behind its first day’s earnings.
According to Sixelk, the film has earned Rs 2.7 crore by earning Rs 0.95 crore till 5:05 pm on the second day. Let us know that these figures are not yet final. They may change.
Budget and direction of ‘The Bengal Files’
This film has been directed by Vivek Agnihotri. He also directed a blockbuster movie like ‘The Kashmir Files’. Many actors like Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Anupam Kher worked in this film.
Vivek has also worked with these actors in ‘The Bengal Files’. In an interview to Money Control, Vivek had told the same actors to re -cast the same actors that he likes to work with the actors and not with the stars.
Talking about the budget of the film, it has been prepared in double the budget of 15 crore budget of ‘The Kashmir Files’ i.e. 30 crores. Let me tell you that even before the release of the film, it started facing allegations like divisive political film.
