Kia India customers are also getting the benefit of GST cut. The company has announced that it will reduce the prices of its entire lineup. This means that customers will now be able to buy popular cars like Kia Seltos, Kia Sonet and Kia Carens at a lower price than before. The company says that this discount will not only apply to select models but to all trains. Let’s know in detail.
How much will be saved?
- The company has reduced the prices of many of its models. After the new GST rate is implemented, customers will get discounts on different cars. The lowest discount of Rs 48,513 on Carens and the maximum discount of Rs 4,48,542 on Carnival. The discount on small engine vehicles is less while cars with large engines are getting more benefit. For example, SONET is getting a discount of Rs 1,64,471, Rs 1,86,003 on Ceros, Rs 75,372 on SELTOS, Rs 48,513 on Carens, Rs 78,674 on Carens Clavis and Rs 4,48,542 on Carnavel. This means that the larger the car, the more discount will be given. The profit is also slightly less due to the low price on small engine vehicles.
New relief for auto sector
- The GST Council had recently taken a major decision, under which tax rates on cars and SUVs have been reduced. Earlier on small and mid-size trains, where GST was up to 28%, it has now been reduced to 18%. At the same time, the tax burden on big and luxury SUVs has also reduced. This decision has given new energy to the entire automobile sector and companies hope that there will be a good bounce in sales.
Sales expected to rise in festive season

Experts believe that due to low prices, the number of customers buying the car will increase for the first time and the market will be intensified.
