On the birthday of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, PM Narendra Modi has written an article in the Economic Times. The PM has remembered him as a vibrant symbol of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The PM wrote that there has been an old relationship with Mohanji’s family. He has worked with Mohanji’s father Madhukarrao Bhagwat, which he has also mentioned in his book ‘Jyotipunj’.
PM Modi wrote that today is September 11 and this day refreshes two opposite memories. The first memory is in 1893, when Swami Vivekananda gave his prestigious speech in Chicago, with words of America and brothers, he won the hearts of the people present in the hall. The second memory is of 9/11 attacks, when this theory was attacked due to terrorism and fundamentalism.

RSS chief’s family told deep connections
On the RSS Chief’s birthday, PM Modi wrote that I have a deep connection with Mohanji’s family. I have worked with Mohanji’s father late Madhukarrao Bhagwatji. Along with being associated with the legal world, he dedicated himself to nation building and helped to strengthen the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh across Gujarat. Madhukarrao ji’s passion for nation building was so much that it prepared his son Mohanrao to work for the revival of India. As if Parasmani Madhukarrao prepared another Parasmani in Mohanrao.
PM Modi wrote that Mohanji became a preacher in the mid -1970s. Hearing the word ‘pracharak’, perhaps someone feels that it is for someone who is campaigning or promoting ideas, but the pracharak tradition has been at the core of the organization’s work. In the last 100 years, thousands of youth dedicated their lives to realize the mission of ‘Bharat I’.
What did you say by mentioning emergency
He wrote that the tenure of his (Mohan Bhagwat), the tenure of the early RSS, matched a black era in Indian history. This was the time when the then Congress government implemented the Emergency. It was natural for every person who believes in democratic principles to strengthen the anti -emergency movement. This is what Mohanji and RSS volunteers did this. He acted by understanding the challenges of the poor, especially in the rural areas of Maharashtra, especially in Vidarbha.

PM Modi wrote that Bhagwatji held various positions in RSS. In the 1990s, many volunteers remember Mohanji’s tenure as an All India Physical Head. During this, he deepened his connection at the ground level, working in the villages of Bihar. In 2000, he became Sarkaryavah and handled the complex situations easily.
