In the case of an FIR registered in Bharatpur on Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the single bench of the High Court today gave great relief to both the stars and ordered the FIR action. A local car owner also named both the stars in his complaint.
Actually, Kirti Singh, a resident of Bharatpur, had a problem in the Hyundai car. After which he approached the court, on which the police registered an FIR. A case was also registered by the complainant on the high officials of the company as well as the actors of branding, ie Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Why was the case registered against Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone?
The complainant had complained against Hyundai Company MD Anaso Kim, Hole Time Director and COO Tarun Garg and showroom owners. According to the information, a case was registered against the company, its officials and dealer as well as brand ambassadors Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan on charges of manufacturing defects in Hyundai car.
It is alleged that he has made Hyundai Alkazar 1.5 AT Signature Black (Model 2022) around Rs 23.97 lakh, Malwa Auto Sales Pvt. Ltd. Had bought from For this, he also took a loan of more than Rs 10 lakh from HDB Financial Service Limited.
What did Shahrukh and Deepika’s lawyer say?
On behalf of Shah Rukh, senior advocate Kapil Sibal argued that the actor has no direct connection with the case and cannot be held responsible for the alleged ‘flaws’. He emphasized that endorsement does not mean the responsibility of manufacturing standard. At the same time, advocate Madhav Mitra, on behalf of Deepika Padukone, also defended that the actress had no role in production or quality control.
Court banned Shahrukh-Deepika’s FIR
Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone filed a petition in the Rajasthan High Court, after which the Rajasthan High Court has stayed the FIR lodged in Bharatpur today. At present, any action in this matter will be stopped. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone were also made a party in the FIR due to the company’s brand ambassador.
