He even claimed that no player of Team India wants to play with Pakistan.
Suresh Raina told Aaj Tak that the Asia Cup match has been approved by the Government of India. At the same time, BCCI has also been saying that no bilateral series will be played with Pakistan. Raina said, “As far as we were concerned, it was a private series (WCL 2025), in which all the legendary players were playing. He did not come under the series BCCI. Due to this we were able to decide not to play against Pakistan.

Suresh Raina claimed a huge claim saying, “I know very well that if the players of the Asia Cup Indian team are asked personally, no one plays in the Asia Cup. It is a compulsion for the players as the BCCI has approved it and it is also the ACC tournament.”
