Now along with the rest of the work, robot bombs will also be defused. In fact, the British Army and the Royal Navy teams are deploying robots in the United Kingdom, Cyprus and Gibraltar who can defuse bombs. In this entire process, the operator and people around the robot will be completely safe. These are being called L3harris T4 Multi-Mission Bomb Disposal Robots. It is being told that they are the most capable robots in the world in the work of defusing bombs.
50 robots will be deployed
A total of 50 robots will be deployed under this program costing about $ 43 million. This medium is equipped with unmanded ground vehicles (UGVs) advanced control, high-defense camera and haptic feedback system. Due to the heptic feedback system, the operator will be able to feel the things that will come in contact with the arms of the robot. Because of this, it becomes easy to control and operate them.
Also capable of climbing stairs
These are much smaller than the T7 already deployed in T4S robot service. The weight of the new robot is about 100 kg and they are designed in such a way that they can work and climb stairs in tight areas. Being small in size, it is easy to take them from one place to another. Talking about the other features of the new robot, they can work continuously for seven hours. Their speed is more than 8 kilometers per hour. Electromagnetic interface has no effect on their platforms and they easily withstand temperatures ranging from minus from 20 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius. Officials say that the new robot has all the T7 features and they can avoid the dangers by working in small places.
