Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan was going to work in the biopic of Dada Saheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema. The film was going to be made by Bollywood veteran Rajkumar Hirani. But now Mr. Perfectionist has opted out of the film and this film has become canned. There are reports that Aamir Khan did not like the script of the biopic and instructed the director to write a Dobapa script.

The report of Bollywood Hungama wrote- ‘Aamir Khan heard the script of Dadasaheb Phalke from Rajkumar Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. He felt that the script did not have suitable elements for release in theaters. He hoped that Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) and aristocracy would mix with laughter, emotions and drama as usual. But there was a shortage of comedy in the script, which created suspicion in Aamir’s mind and asked Raju to write it again.

Hirani’s film working on other scripts
Quoting sources, the report further wrote- ‘Raju and Abhijat Aamir’s reactions were surprised and now thinking about their next steps. The film, whose production was to start in October 2025, is no longer on the path to go to the floor next month. At the moment everything has come to a standstill and Aamir has started working on other scripts, listening to stories from different industries.

Superhero film with Lokesh Kanagaraja also rejected
Let me tell you that earlier there were reports that Aamir Khan has also left his superhero film with Lokesh Kanagaraja. The reports said that there were creative defense between the actor and the coolie director, due to which both of them separated their ways with mutual consent.

Aamir Khan was last seen to be the film ‘Stars Bhumi Par’. His film, released on 20 June 2025, proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. The actor now has his dream project ‘Mahabharata’, on which he can start work soon.
