The election of Students Union (DUSU) at Delhi University (DU) concluded on Thursday. The votes will be counted today (Friday). This time a total of 21 candidates are in the fray for 4 big posts President, Vice President, Secretary and Joint Secretary. The special thing is that after 17 years, NSUI has fielded a female candidate for the post of President. At the same time, this time the ABVP has given a chance to its female candidate for the post of Joint Secretary.
This time there are only 7 girls out of a total of 21 candidates, who are less than 9 women candidates of last year. The presence of 3 women candidates on the post of President has become more exciting.
