Hearing on Salman Khan’s appeal

In this case, Salman Khan was sentenced to five years by the lower court of Jodhpur. Against this, he has filed an appeal in the High Court, which will be heard today. Salman Khan and other film stars related to the black deer hunting case for simultaneous hearing in the High Court
The application was submitted by Salman Khan’s advocate Hastimal Saraswat. He has been accepted.

State government challenge

In the same case, co-accused actor Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam, Sonali Bendre and local resident Dushyant Singh were acquitted by the trial court. The state government has challenged the decision to acquit in the High Court. The hearing on ‘Leave to Appeal’ filed by the government is also scheduled today.

All appeals together hearing

On the previous date, the High Court had ordered that all the appeals would be heard simultaneously. In this sequence, the eyes of all the parties are on the court for today’s proceedings.

Which bench will be heard in

This case is listed in the single bench of Justice Sandeep Shah of the High Court. In the suit list, this case has been kept at serial number 92, 93 and 94. Today’s hearing can decide further direction in this much talked about case. If Salman Khan’s appeal is rejected, then his sentence may remain intact. At the same time, if the court takes cognizance on the appeal of the state government, then the difficulties of co-accused already acquitted can increase again. Today’s hearing is expected to bring a big decision on the future of Salman Khan and other accused.

The shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain in the year 1998 26 years ago was going on in the rural area around Jodhpur. During this, Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and others had hunted black deer. Three cases against Salman Khan were registered in deer hunting, while one case of illegal weapon was registered against the lower court, Salman Khan has been sentenced to five years in two cases. The same case has been sentenced to one year in a case. The hearing of two cases is going on in the Supreme Court, the same Kankani black deer hunting case is being heard in the Jodhpur High Court. Salman Khan is currently out on bail in all the cases.
