Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) extended the registration date of CGL 2025, now can apply till 16 October


Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has extended the final date to apply for the fourth graduate level joint competition examination (CGL 2025). The last date for the first application was on 26 September, but now, giving relief to the candidates, the Commission has extended it till 16 October 2025. This simply means that the candidates who have not yet applied have a golden opportunity.

The last date for submission of examination fee has also been extended. Earlier this date was 24 September, but now candidates will be able to pay the fee by 14 October. The Commission says that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the widespread interest of the candidates.

Under this recruitment campaign, vacant posts will be filled in many departments of Bihar government. A total of 1,481 posts are to be appointed, out of which 510 posts are reserved for women. The most vacancies are in the Department of Animal and Fisheries, where 1,138 posts will be filled. At the same time, 500 posts will also be reinstated in the building construction department.

Talking about merit, it is mandatory for these posts to pass minimum educational eligibility 10th. At the same time, the age limit has been fixed from 18 to 37 years. Women will get a discount of 3 years in the maximum age limit. Candidates of backward class and extremely backward class will also be given the benefit of 3 years exemption. At the same time, Scheduled Castes and Tribes will get 5 years exemption in maximum age. Age will be calculated from 1 August 2025.

The selection process will be completed in two stages. First there will be preliminary examination and then the main examination will be conducted. Only the candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will get a chance to appear in the main examination. After this, the appointment process will be completed by preparing the final merit list.

Application fee will have to be paid so much

Talking about the application fee, Rs 100 has been fixed for the candidates of all classes. Whether it is a candidate, female, disabled or a resident of Bihar, everyone will have to pay equal fee.

The application process is also simple. Candidates will have to register by visiting the official website of BSSC bssc.bihar.gov.in. After this, after filling the necessary information, the documents will have to be uploaded and the fee will have to be paid. In the end, the application form will have to be submitted and its print copy will have to be saved.
