The police lathi -charged when the protesters were stoned by the protesters during the protests that took place after the prayers of Jumme in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The protesters gathered with the posters of ‘I Love Mohammed’ outside the house of Ala Hazrat Dargah and IMC chief Maulana Tauqir Raza Khan. Heavy security arrangements have been deployed at both places. Earlier, banners and slogans were raised outside a local mosque written ‘I Love Muhammad’.
Police officials present on the spot said that after the prayers of Jumme, people protested with the banner of “I Love Muhammad” and shouting slogans like “Allahu Akbar”. When the police tried to calm the protesters and the situation was out of control, they lathi -charged to restore the system. At the same time, the police said that the situation in Bareilly is currently normal.
