Now four major health insurance companies – Star Health, Niva Bupa, Care Health and Tata Aig – have suspended the cashless claim facility with max hospitals. Star Health and Niva Bupa had already shut down their cashless services in 22 max hospitals across the country. Now Tata Aig has also taken the same step since 10 September 2025. Care health facility has been suspended only in the Max Hospitals of Delhi-NCR. Max Hospitals say that insurance companies wanted to suddenly reduce treatment tariffs, which did not agree. Now Max has started “Express Desk” so that the patients can get help in reimbursment process. But there is no conversation with Tata Aig at the moment. Therefore, if you have a health policy of these companies, first confirm. Otherwise you may have to pay the above at the time of treatment!
