In Rajasthan, the timetable of both the hospital and the school has changed. The winter session time has been implemented after the summer session is over. The new system has come into force from Wednesday (1 October) and it will continue till 31 March next year.
Changed time in schools
The government has changed the time of schools in the state. Now government schools will start from 9:55 am. Children will have to go to school an hour late as compared to before.
This system has brought relief especially for young children and their parents. The problem of getting ready in the morning cold and fog quickly will be reduced.
The government has made it clear that this new timetable is only for winter. This system will remain in force till 31 March. After this, the old time will be applied again in the summer session.
OPD time changed in hospitals
OPD time will now be from 9 am to 3 pm in government hospitals across the state including the capital Jaipur. OPD will open from 9 am to 11 am on holiday.
The Health Department says that this step has been taken in view of the change in weather and the onset of winter, so that patients are easily and doctors can also get convenient time.
Patients will be comfortable
The advantage of starting OPD from 9 am in hospitals will be that patients will not have to get out in the cold very quickly. Especially patients coming from rural areas will be a little easier for the morning waiting. At the same time, doctors and nursing staff will also get time to serve better.
Changes are necessary according to the season
Every year in Rajasthan, the time of hospitals and schools is changed during winter. This tradition has been going on for the last several years. This change is considered necessary according to the weather so that the common people do not face much trouble.
