The Bihar government has approved librarian recruitment after a long time. The notification of Bihar Librarian Recruitment 2025 will be released soon by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).
The Education Department has received a list of vacant posts from the districts and now these posts will be sent to BPSC after the final clearance. It is expected that this time about 6500 posts will be recruited. However, the number of exact posts will be revealed with official notifications.
The last recruitment on librarian posts in Bihar was done in the year 2011-12. Since then, there was no new restoration for the last 14 years. After this long wait, now this golden opportunity is going to be given to the candidates. This is the reason that the eyes of thousands of candidates are fixed on this recruitment.
What is the qualification?
To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have a graduation in library science i.e. library science. General class candidates are required to get at least 45 percent marks in graduation. At the same time, the requirement of minimum marks for reserved category, disabled and women candidates has been kept at 40 percent. Along with this, it is also necessary to pass the eligibility test of the candidate.
Age limit
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years. At the same time, under the new manual, a discount of up to 10 years will be given in the maximum age limit. Women will also be given special opportunity in this recruitment. 35 percent of the total posts will be reserved for women. Apart from this, this time the domicile policy will also be implemented so that the local youth of the state can get more opportunities.
How will selection
The selection process for librarian posts will be on the basis of written examination. In the examination, questions related to general knowledge and reasoning can be asked along with subjects related to library science. The detailed pattern of the examination and syllabus notification will be clarified.
Application fee
When the application process starts, the candidates will be able to apply only through online medium. For this, they have to go to the official website of BPSC bpscpat.bihar.gov.in. Here, first new candidates will have to register one time. After the registration is completed, the rest of the information will have to be filled by logging. After this, the application fee will have to be submitted according to the category and after submitting the form in the end, it will have to keep the print out safe with you.
