Therefore, the district administration has banned the sale of cuff syrup of suspended paracetamol and chlorofinamine.

The district administration has issued advisory for doctors and parents. So far, a total of 15 cases have been reported in the district. Even today, a child has been referred to Nagpur, in which 6 children have died. 4 serious children are undergoing treatment in Nagpur.

After this, Bhopal Health Department has been alerted. The sale of both cuff syrup Coldrif and Nextro-DS Kapha Syrup has been banned from the completion of the investigation.

Both cuff syrup ban

Regarding this matter, District Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manish Sharma said that both phlegm syrup will be banned in Bhopal. Doctors have been advised to not prescribe both Kapha Syrups and not to buy both Kapha Syrup. However, there is no supply at the health centers of Bhopal.

Regarding the incident, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that its investigation report has been sent to the institute of ICMR and Nagpur. Regarding this whole matter, BJP spokesperson Dr. Hitesh Vajpayee said that until the results of the investigations come, we cannot reach the conclusion as to what caused death. ‘Need for comprehensive investigation’

He said that there is a need for a comprehensive investigation of the children who have died. It needs to be investigated that there is no other issue, due to which children have died. There is no need to reach any conclusion until the entire investigation is completed by forensic investigation and FDA approved lab samples.

The BJP spokesperson further said that I want to make it clear on behalf of the deputy CM that till now any investigation institution has not given a clean chit to any subject, I have talked to the Health Minister on this subject.

‘Congress can only make allegations’

He said that the Congress can accuse him because their job is only to make allegations. We are running the government, we have to answer and is more responsible than alleging the answer.
