An incident came to light in village Nandanwadi of Dhanora Chowki area of Chhindwara district which shocked the entire area. Here a teacher couple left the innocent baby of three days under stones in the forest for fear of going to the job when he is a fourth child. But luck saved the life of the child.
Villagers said that the sound of crying from the forest was heard. When people reached the spot, they saw that an infant pressed under the stones was suffering. Immediately the villagers removed the stone and took out the child and informed the police and ambulance. The child was first brought to the Community Health Center Dhanora and then referred to the district hospital after first aid. According to doctors, the baby is currently safe.
Teacher couple hatched conspiracy
According to Dhanora police, accused father Bablu Dandolia and mother Rajkumari Dandolia are originally residents of village Sidhauli police station Tamia. Both are working in the post of teacher in Nandanwadi Primary School while living in Amarwada. They already have three children – two daughters and a son. According to the rules of the government, government employees with more than two children are not eligible for many facilities, due to this fear the couple hid the pregnancy of the fourth child.
According to the information, there was delivery at home on the night of 23 September, but the woman was taken to the hospital when her health deteriorated. On returning after treatment, both of them conspired and threw the innocent into the forest.
Angry villagers raised questions on police action
The villagers angry with this incident have questioned the police action. He says that the police have registered a crime under Section 93 BNS, while the matter should have come under Section 109 BNS as part of the attempt to kill the child. The villagers alleged that the police is deliberately saving the accused.
Villagers demand strict action
Villagers and local intellectuals have warned that they will submit a memorandum to the administration and demand strict action. He says that if strict steps are not taken on such cases, then such inhuman incidents can be repeated again in future. This incident not only raises questions on law and order, but also shocks the society how a parents can play with their own innocent life due to fear of jobs and rules.
