Sometimes innocent girl playing on the ridge of the fields, sometimes the young woman entangled in the kitchen and responsibilities, and the DSP standing in the shiny uniform of Rajasthan Police today is the story of Anju Yadav, who made every challenge of life a ladder of her courage and hard work. Anju has proved that if there is encouragement, no obstacle is big.
Anju Yadav, born in 1988, comes from a peasant family in Dhaulara, a small village in Narnaul district of Haryana. Father Lalaram used to maintain the family from farming and groceries, while the mother used to handle the house. There were challenges in the upbringing of four daughters, but the parents never considered them less than sons. This upbringing made Anju self -sufficient and strong. Today these daughters have become an inspiration for their village and society by becoming DSP in Rajasthan Police Service.
Responsibilities in youth and challenge to become mother
After marriage at the age of 21 and became a mother in 24 years, a mountain of responsibilities broke in Anju’s life. On not getting support from her husband’s family, she returned to her maternal home and raised her son Mukuldeep. This was the period when common people abandon their dreams, but Anju decided to prove themselves instead of giving up.
Start of hard work from government school
After studying till 12th from the village government school, Anju completed graduation with distance mode. There was no support for expensive coaching or large school, only encouragement and dedication was with them. He started a career as a teacher and got a job of a government teacher thrice with his hard work.
In 2016, Anju started teaching at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Bhind, Madhya Pradesh. After this, he also taught children in government schools in Rajasthan and Delhi. While working in Delhi for about five years, he fulfilled the responsibilities of both the son’s upbringing and the education of the children.
The toughest turn of life
Husband Nityananda died in 2021 due to illness. This time was extremely difficult for Anju amid alone sons and rising responsibilities. But this sorrow did not weaken them; Rather, he made it his strength. In the same year, he filled the form of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) examination and continued to work hard.
Fruit of hard work
The results came in 2023 after continuous efforts and dedication. Anju secured 1725th rank from widow quota. This was the result of their hard work and courage, which showed that whatever the situation is, if the efforts are true then success is certain.
Anju became DSP in September 2025
After crossing hard work, struggle and countless challenges, in September 2025, Anju Yadav took oath as DSP in Rajasthan Police Service. Wearing uniforms, he proved that the real victory is the same, which should be achieved by fighting the situation. Today Anju is not only the inspiration of his son, but is an example for every woman who wants to fulfill her dreams even in the midst of difficulties.
