Actually, while talking about Pakistani player Natalia Parvez, she told that she comes from ‘Azad Kashmir’. But this comment created a lot of ruckus in India, Sana Mir was also trolled fiercely on social media. Now the former Pak captain has given clarification on this matter.

While commenting, Sana Mir had said, “Natalia comes from Kashmir, Azad Kashmir. Most of the cricket plays in Lahore. She had to come to Lahore to pursue her cricket career.” Claims were made on social media that Sana Mir deliberately took the name of ‘Azad Kashmir’ during the commentary. Even demanded to be removed from the commentary panel.

Sana Mir gave a clarification on this matter through social media and said that his point was exaggerated. The former Pak captain said that his statement was not going to hurt anyone and he is being exaggerated. He was adamant on her statement and said that during the commentary, she did not say anything inspired by politics and she was just talking about the facts.

He said, “I mentioned the hometown of the Pakistani player simply, so that I can tell how many difficulties they have reached here. These are part of the commentary, in which we say where a player comes from. I also told about 2 other players who come from other areas. I do not make it a political issue.”
