Atal pension yojana rule: Changes have been made in the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) of the Government of India. The registration process has been changed under this change. In an official notification issued by the Department of Posts, it has been told that from 1 October 2025, old forms are not being accepted for the Atal Pension Yojana.
To open a new account, only the change made will be accepted from now on. This change has been taken under the guidelines of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority. In the notification issued, information has been given that this change has been taken to improve pension related services.
What is new rules?
According to the information given by the government, to take advantage of Atal Pension Yojana from now on, apply in new form. Some changes have been made in the form. In the new form, applicants will have to give information about their foreign citizenship. That is, they have to tell that they are not citizens of any other country? Indian citizens are to benefit the APY behind this change of the government. Also, savings accounts will be opened through post office for Atal Pension Yojana.
On behalf of the postal department, post offices of the entire country have been asked to accept the application in new form for Atal Pension Yojana from now on. Along with this, inform the customers about this change and write information related to this on the notice board.

Atal Pension Yojana is one such scheme of the Government of India, under which the benefits of pension are provided to the universal employees. Employees who do not get pension scheme, traders, gig workers can get pension by taking advantage of this scheme. An Indian citizen between the age limit of 18 to 40 years can join this scheme. On completion of the age of 60 years, he is given a pension amount between 1 thousand rupees to 5 thousand rupees. This amount depends on the money deposited.
