Waqf amendment bill 2024: The Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024 has been passed from both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha Houses. Rahul Gandhi attacked the government
Rahul Gandhi wrote in his post, “I had already said that the Waqf Bill can make a way to target not only Muslims, but also the rest of the religions. Now the RSS has started focusing on the Christian community as well. At such a time we have only our constitution which can save us from such attacks, and it is our responsibility to save us.” Earlier too, Rahul Gandhi criticized this bill in another post. He had said that this bill is an attempt to weaken Muslims and take away their property and religious rights. This is a direct attack on the Constitution and the rights of religious freedom given in it (Article 25).
