A scooter exploded in Mishri Bazaar area in Kanpur on Wednesday (8 October). Six people were injured in this blast. All the injured have been sent to the hospital. The forensic team has reached the spot to find out how the explosion occurred.
Some people are saying that the incident happened after the explosion of a cylinder kept in the house, while some people are saying that after the explosion, a fire broke out in the adjacent firecracker shop, due to which people were injured. Kanpur Police Commissioner Raghuvar Lal and Joint Police Commissioner Ashutosh Kumar have reached the spot.

Joint Police Commissioner (Law and Order) Ashutosh Kumar said that today two scooters were parked in Mishri Bazaar area under Moolganj police station, which exploded. This incident happened at around 7:15 pm, in which a total of 8 people including a woman were injured.

He told that everyone is undergoing treatment and they are out of danger. Our forensic team is at the scene, and we are investigating what could have caused this. We have traced the scooter and the people who were driving it will also be interrogated. Whether it is an accident or a conspiracy will be known only later.

According to the information, this blast happened near Markas Mosque, where a cloud of fire came out from the cylinder. There was a stir in the area due to the fire. Police and bomb squad teams are present on the spot. According to eyewitnesses, this accident happened due to fire in the cylinder. The injured have been brought to the district hospital Ursala Horsman. Many people are said to be seriously injured in the accident.
