After the departure of monsoon, now pink cold has started in North India. Apart from the country’s capital Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have started feeling slight cold due to the winds blowing in the morning and evening. Due to snowfall in the mountains, people have even taken out quilts and blankets. However, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in South India in the next 4-5 days.
After the recent rains in Delhi-NCR, the heat has now disappeared and mild cold has started. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather will remain clear till October 11. Today i.e. Thursday (9th October) the maximum temperature of the day is likely to be 32 degrees and the minimum temperature is likely to be 20 degrees Celsius.
How will the weather be in UP?
Now the rainy season has stopped in Uttar Pradesh. IMD has now kept the entire state in the Green Zone, which means there is no alert of storm or rain in any part of the state. According to the report of Meteorological Center Lucknow, today the weather will remain clear and dry in both eastern and western parts of UP. There will be bright sunshine and light winds may blow.
Looking at the weather activities, there is no possibility of rain in the state for the next 3 days, but the minimum temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees in the next three days. The weather will remain normal on 10th and 11th October also. People have now started feeling coolness in the morning and evening.
Chances of rain in Bihar
Pink cold has knocked in Bihar. However, it rained in some areas of the capital Patna on Wednesday, due to which the temperature has come down. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will drop rapidly from October 10. Today on Thursday, there is a possibility of light rain in other districts except West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan and Saran.
Snowfall starts in Uttarakhand from now
Rain in Uttarakhand has brought down the temperature. The snowfall in the mountainous areas has broken the record of the last 30 years. In the last 30 years, there has never been snowfall in Uttarakhand in the first week of October. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain or shower at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh today.
