Naraka Chaturdashi 2025: According to the Hindu calendar, Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month is called Narak Chaturdashi. It is also called Chhoti Diwali and Roop Chaudas. It is believed that on this day, worshiping at night destroys sins and taking Abhyanga bath in the morning brings beauty, health and prosperity.

There is a tradition of waking up early in the morning and applying rubbing, taking bath with water mixed with bitter leaves (Neem, Chichadi etc.) or taking sesame oil bath.
