India’s ancient medical system Ayurveda is now making its mark in every corner of the world. Patanjali claims that Ayurveda has not only turned millions of people towards natural treatment in India, but has also taken Ayurveda to new heights at the global level. Patanjali says that by the year 2025, Patanjali will have registered its presence in more than 20 countries, where its products are being sold and Ayurvedic treatments are becoming popular. This expansion is not only economic but also cultural, which is establishing Ayurveda as a global health revolution.
Patanjali claims, “Today the company has thousands of ranges of food, medicines, body care and herbal products, which are completely organic and affordable. Digital marketing, e-commerce and partnerships play a big role in the global expansion strategy. For example, Patanjali products are being exported to countries like America and Britain, where apart from Indian expatriates, local people have also started adopting them. The company has planned to increase the export of FMCG products to 12 countries in 2025, which will give a new boost to the Ayurvedic market.
Ayurveda will get global recognition by connecting it with modern science – Acharya Balkrishna
Patanjali said, “Recently on Ayurveda Day, Patanjali Research Foundation signed an MoU with Sri Vajera Foundation of Brazil. This partnership will do joint research on herbs of India and Brazil, which will include testing of medicinal properties and clinical trials as per the climate. On this, Acharya Balkrishna said, “It will give global recognition to Ayurveda by connecting it with modern science.”
Patanjali said, “Similarly, by opening a herbal factory in Nepal, the company has strengthened its roots in South Asia. The ‘Global Herbal Encyclopedia’, released in July 2025, set a new standard in ethnobotanical research, which is a treasure trove of Ayurveda for researchers around the world. This expansion of Patanjali is not just a business but a mission.
Plan to open 10,000 wellness hubs in India- Patanjali
Patjali says, “The company plans to open 10,000 wellness hubs in India by 2025, which will strengthen the global wellness industry. The inauguration of the Food and Herbal Park in Nagpur, in which an investment of Rs 700 crore was made, is taking farmers towards organic farming. This will increase production and strengthen exports. The global Ayurveda market is worth $16.51 billion in 2025, which will reach $77.42 billion by 2035. Patanjali is playing a leading role in this, especially with the combination of Yoga and Ayurveda.
