Illegal firecrackers exploded in Ayodhya. So far, 5 people have been confirmed dead in this blast, while many people are reported to be injured. This explosion took place in Pagla Bhari village of Pura Kalandar police station area. A burst cooker and cylinder have been recovered from the spot. Senior Superintendent of Police is present at the incident site. Rescue operation is going on. The explosion was so strong that a house collapsed.
CM Yogi expressed condolences
CM Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the explosion in the house in Ayodhya, Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolences to the deceased. CM Yogi has instructed the officials to reach the spot immediately and speed up the relief work, and also directed the officials to immediately take the injured to the hospital for their proper treatment. CM Yogi has wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Ayodhya District Medical Officer said that dead bodies of three children and two adults were brought. The body is burnt. At 7:15, information came that the roof had collapsed. There was a loud noise. The work of removing debris is going on. This house was in a field and there were no houses nearby. DM and SSP are on the spot. The police and forensic team will investigate only then we will know the reason behind the incident.
Officers engaged in investigation of the incident site
Regarding this incident, SSP Gaurav Grover said, “At around 7:15 pm in Pagla Bhari village of Pura Kalandar police station area, we had received information about a house built in a field outside the village, where a massive explosion took place. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operations. The injured in this incident were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. The spot was inspected by all the senior officers.
He also said that there is a lot of debris which has been removed. The outside area is also being searched. It was also told that a person named Pappu Gupta from the same village lived with his family in the said house, efforts are being made to contact his family members. Regarding this incident, District Magistrate Nikhil Tikaram Funde said, “…the rescue team immediately removed the debris and confirmed five deaths in the district hospital…”
Akhilesh Yadav expressed grief, demanded investigation
Former CM Akhilesh Yadav has expressed grief over the Ayodhya incident. Akhilesh Yadav wrote, “The news of death of 5 people due to blast in Ayodhya is very sad. Immediate arrangements should be made for proper treatment of the injured and the matter should be investigated.
