Four people died in a horrific road accident on Friday (October 10, 2025) evening in Meenapur, Muzaffarpur. Many people have been injured, some of whom are in critical condition. The incident took place in Khemaipatti village of Meenapur police station area. This accident happened due to the collision of the pickup with the tractor.
There was chaos on the spot after the accident. People nearby gathered. After the information, police also arrived. The police sent the injured to the hospital for treatment. The dead and injured people are from Meenapur police station area only. Some are from Harkha village and some are from Mansahi or Purnhiyan. Among the dead are three middle-aged people and a 10-year-old girl.
How did this road accident happen?
According to the information, late in the evening a tractor loaded with bricks was going towards Meenapur. Meanwhile, the pickup collided with the tractor from the side. Four people traveling in the pickup fell on the road. Many other people fell prey to it. Everyone was returning from Samastipur after seeing the Shiura fair.
Meenapur police station in-charge Ram Iqbal Prasad said that four people have died in the collision between a pickup and a tractor late in the evening, while many others are injured. He has been sent to the medical college for treatment. There was a brick on the axle of the tractor. People were sitting in the car of the pickup. The injured are currently being treated in the medical college.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed grief over this accident. Expressed deep condolences on the death of four people in a horrific road accident. The Chief Minister said that this accident is very sad. He wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in this accident. The Chief Minister has prayed to God to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and give strength to their families to bear the loss in this hour of grief.
