India vs West Indies was the second test and only the second day, Yashasvi Jaiswal came into the field to take his innings forward with a score of 173. Jaiswal was able to add only 2 runs to his score when he was run out. Actually, Jaiswal had pushed the ball towards mid-off, after which he ran away but Gill refused. Due to this, Jaiswal was not able to return to the crease in time. There has been a lot of debate on this run out and Shubman Gill is being held responsible for it on social media. Now Jaiswal himself has broken his silence on this run out.
After the end of the second day’s play in the Delhi Test, Yashasvi Jaiswal said, “I always try to play long innings. If I am at the crease, the scoreboard should keep moving forward. Run out is a part of the game, there is no regret about it. There is always a thought in my mind as to what I can achieve and what should be the goal of my team.”
Jaiswal also said that if he can stay on the pitch for an hour, then it becomes easier for him to score runs. The unfortunate thing was that on the second day he could stay on the pitch for only a few minutes and was out after scoring 175 runs.

This is the story of the 92nd over of the Indian innings, Jaden Seals was bowling. On the second ball of the over, Jaiswal bowled the ball towards mid-off, after which Jaiswal started running. At the other end, Shubman Gill took 2 steps forward, but after that refused to run. By then Jaiswal had reached half the pitch. After an accurate throw by Tagnarine Chanderpaul, wicketkeeper Tevin Imlach scattered the wickets and ran out Jaiswal.
