The ongoing tension on the Pakistan and Afghanistan border has increased considerably. The war that started with Pakistan’s airstrike on October 9 has stopped for the time being, but tension still remains. Meanwhile, the defense deal between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is also being discussed a lot and Pakistani expert Arzoo Kazmi has expressed anger over the silence of Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Arzoo Kazmi says whether Taliban’s attack on Pakistan will be considered an attack on Saudi Arabia also or not.
Last month, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had signed a strategic defense pact with Mohammad Bill Salman. This agreement meant that if there is an attack on one of the two countries, it will be considered an attack on the other and in such a situation both the countries will help each other.
RG Kazmi’s anger over Saudi Arabia’s defense deal
Arzoo Kazmi said that Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia is giving us consolation, what happened to the defense deal, which was saying that an attack on either of the two countries would be considered an attack on both. He asked, ‘So now should Taliban’s attack on Pakistan be considered an attack on Saudi Arabia as well and if it is considered, then where is Mohammed bin Salman? If they cannot send the army then they should send money, they are not sending it either, they are just giving us empty assurances that this should not happen.
Arzoo Kazmi raised questions on Pakistan’s air strike
Arzoo Kazmi also raised questions on the Pakistan government that they themselves are now saying that only terror camps were targeted in Afghanistan and not civilian and army camps, but when India had said the same thing on May 7 regarding Operation Sindoor, then Pakistan was not understanding these things.
He said that we should remember the attacks that have taken place in Afghanistan from Pakistan side and in Pakistan from Afghanistan side. Whatever has happened from Afghanistan’s side, they are saying that they have taken retaliatory action. Arzoo Kazmi said that Pakistan is now saying that we attacked the military camps, but not the civilian or army camps. India had also told us this when they attacked terror camps in different cities of Pakistan.
Arzoo Kazmi said that India had also said that action was taken only against those who come to India from Pakistan and attack people, at that time we were not able to understand this and now when we ourselves attacked Afghanistan, we are telling the same story here and asking them to believe us.
