As soon as the holidays are announced, they plan to hang out with their friends and enjoy the festival with family.

This year too, preparations for Diwali are going on in full swing and many states have already announced school holidays, while some states are now following it.

Diwali is a festival of lights, sweets and happiness. Earlier these holidays in Rajasthan were scheduled from 16 October to 27 October 2025.

But this year, considering the convenience of students and teachers, it has been extended and started from October 13. This will give children more time to prepare for Diwali and celebrate the festival with family.

Several days’ holidays have also been announced in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of Diwali. This decision will prove to further enhance the festive happiness for the students and their families.

Now students can easily prepare for the festival and spend time with their families. There will be about five days of holidays in schools across India on the occasion of Diwali.

These holidays will start from Dhanteras (18 October) and continue till Bhai Dooj (23 October). During this period, there will be no school education, so that children can fully spend time with family and festivals.
