IMD Rain Alert: Snow fell on the mountains, weather changed from UP, Delhi, Bihar to Rajasthan, know where it will rain.


Monsoon has completely returned from many states of the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed little to no rain in many states including Delhi-NCR, UP, Bihar and Uttarakhand on Wednesday (October 15, 2025). Due to pink cold, it is now becoming cold in the morning and evening, whereas, before Diwali, the air in Delhi is continuously getting worse.

With the arrival of winters, the problem of air pollution is continuously increasing in Delhi. According to the data of Delhi Pollution Control Board (DPCC), the last time the air quality index in Delhi was recorded in the ‘poor’ category on July 11. After that, there was some reduction in the pollution level in the city due to rain, but with the changing weather patterns and the onset of winter, the pollution has started increasing again.

How will the weather be in UP?
Now cold is slowly knocking in Uttar Pradesh. Due to the changing weather, light fog is visible in many districts of UP in the morning, while it has started getting cold at night. According to the information received from the Zonal Meteorological Center located in Amausi, Lucknow, the weather will be dry in both the eastern and western divisions of UP on October 15. During this period, all 75 districts of the state have come in the green zone.

According to the Meteorological Department, today the weather is going to be normal in all the districts. IMD has given similar weather forecast on 16th and 17th October. There does not seem to be any significant change in the weather even near Dhanteras and Diwali. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that apart from most parts of UP, the south-west monsoon has departed from other states including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra.

Weather of Bihar-Jharkhand
The weather will be normal in Bihar today. Meteorological Department, Patna has kept all the districts in the green zone. No rain alert has been issued for any district of Bihar today. However, there is a continuous decline in temperature. There is no expectation of rain anywhere in Jharkhand today. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will remain at 28 degrees and the minimum temperature will remain at 18 degrees.

Cold increased in the mountains
The weather has taken a turn after the snowfall in Uttarakhand last week. People are feeling the cold in the hilly areas of the state. People have started wearing warm clothes in the morning and evening. There is no possibility of rain in the state today, the sky will be absolutely clear.

It will rain in South India
According to the Meteorological Department, conditions are favorable for the withdrawal of south-west monsoon from the rest of the country during the next 2 days. There is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Kerala and Tamil Nadu during the next 7 days.
