Regarding this, Henley Passport Index (Henley Passport Index 2025) has released its new list. This list is also called passport report card.

Which simply means that the strength of the American passport has reduced. This time Singapore has got the first position in this list. This means that Singapore citizens can travel to most of the countries in the world through Visa on Arrival.
Indian passport status
Talking about Indian passport, there has been a decline of 5 points. Last year it was at number 80, and this year it has slipped to 85th place. However, in the last report the Indian passport ranking had improved and it reached number 77. If we talk about Visa on Arrival, Indian citizens can travel to 57 countries. Visa on arrival means that you do not have to obtain a visa for any country before traveling to that country. When you reach that country, you are given a visa.
These countries dominated
According to the Henley Passport Index 2025, Singapore’s passport has become the most powerful passport in the world. Singapore citizens can travel to 193 countries without visa or visa on arrival. After this, South Korea remains at second and third position with reach of 190 countries and Japan with reach of 189 countries.
If you have a passport of Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain and Switzerland, you can travel to 188 countries. Whereas with the passport of Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland and Netherlands you can go to 187 countries. You can travel to 180 countries with the passports of America and Malaysia.
Where the strength of America’s passport has reduced and it has fallen out of the top 10. There is a lot of improvement in the ranking of our neighboring country China. According to the data of the year 2015, the ranking of China’s passport was 94. At the same time, now in 2025 it has reached number 64.
