Afghanistan claims that it destroyed many Pakistani military bases in Spin Boldak on the Durand Line and captured their soldiers. Afghanistan said that 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed in its operation.
Four places were targeted in Spin Boldak area: PAK
The Pakistani army said that the Afghan Taliban attacked four places in the Spin Boldak area of ​​Balochistan province, which was foiled by the Pakistani army. “While foiling the attack, 15-20 Afghan Taliban were killed and many were injured,” the army said.
The army has said that the situation is changing rapidly as there are reports of more gatherings at Fitna Al Khawarij and Afghan Taliban bases. Fitna al-Khawarij is the term used by Pakistani authorities to refer to terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Pak-Afghan friendship gate destroyed
The army said the attack was carried out in divided villages in the area and that the Taliban showed no respect for the civilian population. “The Afghan Taliban also destroyed the Pak-Afghan Friendship Gate located on their side, which clearly shows their mentality regarding mutual trade and accessibility rights of divided tribes,” it said.
The Pakistani Army said that the attack in Spin Boldak of PoK was not an isolated incident, as on the night of October 14, the Afghan Taliban and TTP had tried to attack Pakistani border posts in Kurram sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
He said, “These attacks were effectively foiled, causing heavy losses to Afghan positions.” “In the effective but justified response of Pakistani troops, eight posts including six tanks were destroyed and 25-30 Afghan Taliban and TTP fighters are feared dead.”
‘Pakistan requested for ceasefire’
According to the security forces of Afghanistan, Taliban also took control of the gate of Spin Boldak which was occupied by Pakistani Army by conducting an operation in the early hours of Wednesday. Taliban spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid posted on Twitter, “After a request from Pakistan, the ceasefire between the two countries came into effect from 5:30 pm on October 15, 2025. We have also instructed all our security forces to follow the ceasefire and not violate it until there is no action from the front.”
Afghanistan’s drone attack in Peshawar
Pakistan had carried out air strikes in Jadhani Kabul and Spin Boldak on Wednesday evening, in response to which Afghanistan launched a drone attack in Peshawar. In this attack, a house was targeted from where intelligence activities were being carried out. According to the Afghan government, their security forces seized a batch of light and heavy weapons including tanks and brought them to the Afghan border.
