2025 has been great for Bollywood films. Many big films have been released this year. Some of which proved to be hits and some flopped badly. Most of the hit films have been of small budget and there are very few big budget films which could survive at the box office. Let us tell you how many films have flopped so far in the year 2025. From Salman Khan to Akshay Kumar, fans have high expectations from their films. Whenever any big star’s film is announced, people start waiting for it. There is a lot of craze about these but when they flop, the fans get shocked because their stories have no substance.
These films flopped
The year 2025 started with Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force. After watching Sky Force, people thought that this film would prove to be a hit but it proved to be a flop. Sky Force was made with a budget of Rs 160 crore and collected Rs 134 crore at the box office. Akshay Kumar’s 3 films have flopped so far this year. In which Sky Force, Kesari Chapter 2 and Housefull 5 are there. Salman Khan’s Sikandar was released on the occasion of Eid. This film could not last more than a week. The lifetime collection of the film is 129.95 crores.
Talking about flop films, it includes War 2, Badass Ravi Kumar (13.78 crore), Crazy (14.03 crore), The Diplomat (40.73 crore), Jaat (90.34 crore), Maa (38.63 crore), Param Sundari (54.85 crore), The Bengal Files (19.59 crore), Baaghi 4 (67.09 crore) and Mirai. These films have earned very little. War 2 was made with a budget of Rs 300-400 crore and was able to earn only Rs 244 crore at the box office.
